DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE! Join us at The Conference Center at Lake Placid\, New York from October 19 – 22\, 2026. This year’s theme is “Traffic Safety Never Goes Out of Style“. \n \nThis annual symposium unites safety professionals and stakeholders\, including law enforcement\, traffic engineers\, policymakers\, public health officials\, and community organizations. The event is organized and sponsored by the NYS Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee\, the NYS Association of Traffic Safety Boards\, the NYS STOP-DWI Association\, Inc.\, and the New York State Police. \nPlease note that this year and continuing each year thereafter\, the NYS Highway Safety Symposium is merging with the Empire State Law Enforcement Traffic Safety (ESLETS) Conference\, a similar conference serving many of the same stakeholders.
