Research & Data
“Utilizing research for traffic safety is of paramount importance as it provides a solid foundation for evidence-based decision-making and the development of effective strategies. Research allows us to understand the root causes of traffic crashes, identify high-risk areas, and evaluate the impact of various interventions. This knowledge enables policymakers, traffic engineers, and law enforcement agencies to implement targeted measures and interventions that address specific challenges and improve overall traffic safety. Furthermore, research helps in evaluating the effectiveness of implemented measures and identifying areas that require further improvement. By harnessing research findings and translating them into practical solutions, we can strive towards reducing crashes, injuries, and fatalities on our roads, ultimately creating safer environments for all road users.”
