Creating walkable and bikeable environments requires an active collaboration of people with interests in safety, land use, economic development, transportation, education, law enforcement, and health promotion. This two-day symposium will provide participants with the tools to work together to create walkable and bikeable communities.
The agenda includes topics that will address Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education, Enforcement, Education & Engineering, Safety Initiatives, Local Project Highlights, Safe Routes for Youth and Bike Tourism & Sharing Programs in New York State.
